To the family of Karen McConnell
I am so sorry for your loss. I first met Karen over 10 years ago when she was working at It's a Dogs World, and I worked a few doors down. Our paths crossed again a few years ago when she was living on and off across from my mother in Bayberry. She was a free spririt who accepted everyone for who they are. Karen will be missed and I'm sure our paths will cross again. Sharon (Bater) Howland

Thinking about Karen makes it difficult to even type. It feels like just yesterday that we were venturing through the woods to hang out by the Nine Mile creek, traipsing through the village, or laughing on the school bus making silly gestures or comments. Karen was a great friend to many of us and it is with great sadness that I extend heartfelt condolences to you the family and to all Karen's friends. There is no way to justify the loss of such a young, pleasant, beautiful, person. May she watch over us all.
