Edna Richardson Bailer
Edna R. Bailer 95, formerly of Syracuse died Sunday, March 16, 2003 in Fernandina Beach, FL. She was born June 13, 1907 to Rose and Elbert Richardson. Edna graduated from North High School in 1924. While living in Syracuse she was a member of Hunt Club, Corinthian Club, Lakeshore Yacht and Country Club, and DeWitt Community Church. Edna had her own successful insurance agency. She later resided in Rutxon, MD and upon her husband’s retirement she moved to Florida. Edna enjoyed a wonderful life and will be lovingly remembered by her family and friends.
She was predeceased by husbands L. Brent Wood and Fred Bailer. Survivors: a daughter Jean Strickland Latimer of Fernandina Beach, FL; two sons Wendell D. Strickland of Camillus, Richard G. Strickland of Canandaigua, NY; two stepsons, Brent K. Wood of Rutland, VT, Rick Bailer of Alexandria, VA; a stepdaughter, Marcia Losh; Many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews including locally William F. Strickland of Fayetteville, Eric A. Strickland of Lysander and Philip Richardson of Cicero.
Services: 9 a.m. Monday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home 10 Genesee Street, Camillus.
Burial in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners.
