John F. Carroll
John F. Carroll, 82, of Iroquois Nursing Home, Jamesville, and formerly of Camillus, died Tuesday, August 13, 2002.
He graduated from Most Holy Rosary School. He retired in 1982 from Pepsi-Cola Bottling Co. in Syracuse after 37 years. He was a communicant and former usher at Holy Family Church. He was also a past grand knight of the Knights of Columbus. He was an Army veteran of World War II and served in General Patton's Tank Battlion
His wife, the former Helen Daley, died July 21, 2001. His sister Mary E. Connors died August 4, 2002.
Survivors: A daughter, Maureen Whalley of Syracuse; a son, John A. of Camillus; a sister, Anne Romano of Camillus; two brothers, James of Florida and Thomas of Syracuse; two granddaughters.
Services: 10:30 a.m. Friday in Holy Family Church. Burial, Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
