Richard J. Curry

Richard J. Curry, 77, of 119 Hillside Way, Camillus, died May 28, 2002 Tuesday.

Born in Boston, he graduated from Bowdoin College in 1946. He owned and operated Curry Cafeteria in Syracuse and Rochester for 16 years, retiring in 1981. He was an independent real estate broker.

He was a member of St. Luke's Episcopal Church in Camillus and a former member of its vestry. He was a member and first chairman of the Service Corps of Retired Executives and a member of the YMCA in Syracuse.

He was a Navy veteran of World War II.

Survivors: His fiancee, Katherine Lynch of Camillus; two sons, Daniel H. of Auburn and James J. II of Camillus; a sister, Barbara DeYoung of Young Harris, Ga.; four grandchildren; two great-grandchildren.

Services: 10 a.m. Saturday in St. Luke's Episcopal Church.

Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park.

Calling hours, 4 to 7 p.m. Friday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus.
