John C. "Jack" Flask

John Carmon Flask, 60 of Elbridge died Friday, July 5, 2002 at his home surrounded by family after a year long battle with cancer.

Born in Syracuse, NY he graduated from Syracuse Vocational High School in 1960.

He worked up until a year ago as a Corian Fabricator at Wilbedone, Inc. located in Cortland, NY where he had worked for the last 8 years. He was a volunteer for 15 years with the Boy Scouts of America Hiawatha Council and former Cub Master. He enjoyed fishing, boating and especially RV camping.

Surviving are his wife the former Mildred "Millie" Stonecipher; two daughters, Mary Ann Cantello of Syracuse, Elizabeth "Betsy" Bernardin of Baldwinsville; three sons, John C. Flask, Jr. of Syracuse, Joseph C. Flask of Camillus, Jay C. Flask of Camillus,; two sisters Beatrice "Bea" Golembiewski of Syracuse, Ruth Edwards of Kirkville, NY; six grandchildren, Jim Cantello, Josh Cantello, Jeremy Cantello, Christine Flask, Nathan Flask, Carmon Flask.

Services are Wednesday July 10, 2002 at 8:30 am at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee Street, Camillus and 9:30 am St. Mary's of the Lake R.C. Church in Skaneateles, NY. Burial will follow the funeral mass at Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners, NY.

Calling hours are Tuesday, July 9th from 4 to 8 pm at funeral home.
