Philip G. Hutcheon 56, of Camillus died Saturday, April 12, 2003. Philip was born in Pearl River, NY the son of Harry and Janet Hutcheon. He worked as a carpenter and mason for 8 years for John Lau Construction in Camillus and formerly worked for 18 years with Aull Construction. He was a former Camillus Police officer and Firearms Instructor for CNY Police Academy.

A former member and treasurer of Camillus Elks Lodge # 2367, a former member of VFW Camillus Post #8664 and American Legion Knifetown Post #1540, he also bowled in Thursday Night Bowling League at Camillus Club House. He was a veteran of the Vietnam War were he served as a Sergeant in the Marines.

Mr. Hutcheon was survived by a son David P. Hutcheon of Liverpool; a brother Colin K. Hutcheon of Marcellus; a sister Patricia Marcone of Tupper Lake, NY.

Funeral services are 1 pm Monday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee Street, Camillus with the Rev. Michael Grinnals officiating.

Burial with military honors was in Onondaga County Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
