Viola A. Kantak
Viola A. Kantak, 94, of Syracuse died Monday, January 20, 2003. Born in Syracuse, she graduated from Camillus High School.
She was an office manager for General Electric Co. in Syracuse for many years and retired in 1973. She was a communicant of St. Joseph's Church.
She was survived by her companion of 60 years, Arigo "Chick" Parisi; a sister, Virginia K. Barth of Baldwinsville; two nieces Candace B. Edwards of Baldwinsville and Judith A. Barth of Fort Collins, CO; one nephew George Barth, II of Baldwinsville; five great nieces and nephews; four great-great nephews.
Services were 10 a.m. Friday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home and 10:30 a.m. in St. Joseph's Church with the Rev. John Finnegan officiating. Burial was in Assumption Cemetery, Syracuse.
Calling hours were 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus.
