Eleanor McArdle
Eleanor Spraggins McArdle, 86, of Syracuse died Thursday at Francis House.
Born in Cardinal, Ontario, she graduated in 1933 from Rome Free Academy 1933 and Excelsior School of Business in 1935. She formerly worked for H.P. Sears Oil Co. in Rome and the Army Corps of Engineers in the Massena area. She had been an elections inspector for the town of Camillus.
Her husband, James B., died in 1974.
Survivors are her caregiver and friend, Janet Dlugolenski; a brother, Harry Spraggins of Rome; a niece Cynthia Synder and two nephews Bill and Bob Cobb.
Services will be 10 a.m. Monday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home. Burial, Greenlawn Memorial Park.
Calling hours are 1 to 3 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 10 Genesee St., Camillus.
