
Marion M. Napier
Marion M. Napier, 81, of Camillus died Sunday, February 16, 2003 at Hospice by the Sea in Boca Raton, Florida following a battle with cancer. She was born March 11, 1921 in Syracuse to the late Edward and Flora Bartlett Marks. She taught at Onondaga Road Elementary School and retired in early 70's.
She graduated from Central High School and later from Syracuse University in 1957. She was Past Queen, Ilderim Temple #15 Daughters of the Nile, member of Camillus Woman's Republican Club, Youth Services of Salvation Army Woman's Auxiliary, and Immanuel United Methodist Church.
Mr. and Mrs. Napier were winter residents of Ocean Ridge Florida for 30 years and belong to Boynton Beach Congregational United Church in Boynton Beach, FL.
She is predeceased by her first husband, Roy Sessler who died in 1950.
She is survived by her husband of 41 years, Donald "Pete" Napier, a daughter Barbara J. Sessler of Onondaga Hill; two sons Donald P. Napier of Manlius and Edward R. Sessler of Ridgefield, CT; a sister Margaret P. Zimmer of Ocala, FL; three grandchildren, Marc Sessler, Eric Sessler and Alyssa Napier and several nieces and nephews.
Calling were held at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee Street, Camillus. A Funeral Service was held at Immanuel United Methodist Church. Spring burial in Maplewood Cemetery.
A Memorial Service in Flordia will be held at 11:00 am on Friday, March 21 in Boynton Beach Congregational United Church in Boynton Beach, FL.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm on May 9th in Maplewood Cemetery, Camillus.
