Mary "Molly" Ryan
Mary Agnes "Molly" Ryan (nee Connolly), formerly of Vanida Drive, Camillus passed away on Saturday, June 14, 2003 in North Carolina.
Molly was born in London, England and worked for Dey Brothers department stores in Syracuse for 28 years. She raised 17 foster children, was a member of the Altar Rosary Society of Holy Family Church and the Onondaga Hill Senior Citizens Club.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, John L. "Jack" Ryan in 1986.
She is survived by her sons, Terrance K. Ryan of Ocean Springs, MS, Michael P. Ryan of Willow Spring, NC, John F. Ryan of Camillus, NY, daughter Joann Smathers of Rochester, NY, grandson Dale Smathers, Jr. of Rochester, NY, granddaughter Bobbi-Jean Ryan-Sherry of Indialantic, FL, and great grandson Tristan Dale Smathers of Rochester, NY. Molly is also survived by her brothers Teddy Connolly and his wife Pat, Patrick Connolly and his wife Elsie, all of England, UK, and John Connolly, Santa Monica, CA and many nieces and nephews in the UK and US.
A Funeral Mass will be held at 10 am Friday at Holy Family Church, Fairmount burial to follow in Greenlawn Memorial Park, Warners, NY.
In lieu of flowers the family asks memorial contributions be made to St. Jude Shrine, 512 W. Saratoga St., Baltimore, MD 21201-1896, or to the 50-210 Rescue Squad, 50 Greenleaf Rd., Angier, NC 27501-8732.
