Harry A. Swartwood
Harry A. Swartwood, 88 of Camillus died Saturday, May 17, 2003.
Born in Emporium, PA he was a graduate of Emporium High School in 1933, a member and former treasurer for 20 years at Camillus First United Methodist Church, a volunteer at Maxwell Memorial Library, a member of Camillus Elks Lodge # 2367 and Emporium Moose Lodge. He retired in 1977 after 43 years as an Accountant for GTE/Sylvania.
He was pre-deceased by a daughter Judith Ann Walter in 1984.
Surviving are his wife of 67 years Mary J.; a son William of Camillus; four grandchildren Deborah Taylor, Kimberly Walter, Matthew Walter, Kristine Perla; a great granddaughter Gabriel Perla and a great grandson Ashton Perla.
Services are 7:00 pm Wednesday following a calling hour from 6:00 to 7:00 pm at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee Street, Camillus.
Burial in Highland Cemetery, Marcellus.
