Ceylon Edward Russell 93, of Dade City, Fla., formerly of St. Petersburg, Fla ., died Wednesday, October 7, 2009, at Hernando-Pasco Hospice in Dade City. He was born in Otisco and lived in Skaneateles, where he was part owner of former Trabold & Russell Garage on Jordan Street until 1980. He was a Navy veteran, having served during World War II. He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Louise Barber Russell; son, David Russell; daughter, Gail Hunter; sister, Ester Foss; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren. A memorial service was held on October 10, at Dade City Christian Church. A graveside service will be held 1 p.m. Nov. 7 in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles, with the Rev. David Alcott officiating.
