Michael N. Gannon, Jr., 60 of Liverpool passed away peacefully, May 9th, 2022 at Francis House after a long, courageous battle with cancer. Born in Massachusetts, he grew up in Camillus and attended West Genesee, Cazenovia College and SUNY Oswego. Mike was a U.S. Army Reservist for 5 years and a carpenter for over 35 years. He enjoyed the outdoors including fishing, bird watching, gardening, and just sitting on the patio with coffee, music, and his dog by his side. He was predeceased by his father Michael and sister-in-law Kathy Oman White. He is survived by his loving wife of 37 years Cindi (Oman) Gannon; two daughters Danielle Marie Gannon and Katherine Emily Gannon; a brother Patrick; three sisters Kathleen (James) Salomon, Mary Ellen (Peter) Labaziewicz and Jennifer (Don) Weatherall; his mother Thelma Gannon; two sisters-in-law Christine (Joe Carbone) Goodman and Susan (Chuck) Mantella; his mother-in-law Bruna Oman; several nieces and nephews; and his “brothers” Joe Heuser and John Bieber. Family and friends are invited to have a last cup of coffee with Mike from 9-10:30 am Friday, May 13th at B.L. Bush & Sons, 10 Genesee St, Camillus before the funeral Mass to be celebrated at 11 am at St. Joseph’s Church. Masks are kindly requested for both the funeral home and the church.
