Another angel got her wings - Sharon L. Southard (Devine), of Grand Rapids, MI and formerly of Syracuse, NY passed peacefully at home surrounded by the love of her family on January 7th, 2021 at the age of 78. Born January 17, 1943 to John and Reinette (Bernier) Devine of Northampton, MA. Sharon graduated from St. Michael's High School in 1960 where she was a cheerleader and a member of the girls' basketball team. Sharon, an avid gardener working alongside her husband, designed and beautifully maintained the many gardens at Kahkwa Country Club (Erie, PA) and Bellevue Country Club (Syracuse, NY). She worked for The Bonton (Syracuse, NY) before retiring in 2015. She dedicated her personal life to the care and comfort of her family. She was an awesome cook, crafter, and costume maker. Sharon is survived by her husband of 61 years David; her children Kim (Robert) Von Kaenel of Grand Rapids, David B. (Cyndy) Southard Jr. of Lumberville, PA, and Heidi (Hillary) Southard of Port Jervis, NY; 10 grandchildren Bobby, Emily, Patrick, Katie, Nathan, Alexandria, Aubrey, Erica, John, and Christopher; 7 Great-grandchildren; her sister Barbara Fuller of Leeds, MA; her brother-in-law James (Sandy) Southard of Madison, WI and her kitties Forest and Onyx. Her family extends deep thanks and gratitude to the staff of Spectrum Health Hospice for taking such heartfelt care of Sharon during her final time with us. Calling hours will be Saturday, May 7th from 2 to 4 pm at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Camillus. Arrangements by B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, Camillus, NY.
