Mary Anne "Anna" Mallore

A beautiful light went out on this Valentine’s Day. Mary Anne “Anna” Mallore, 85, of Warners passed away on Friday February 14, 2025, at Upstate University Hospital after a hard fought yet brief illness. A life resident of Warners, she was born on November 3rd, 1939 to Rocco and Josephine (Panarese) Palumbo. Anna attended West Genesee High School and then went to cosmetology school. After school, she worked for a time at Dey Brothers in Syracuse. She married her husband Carmen in 1960 and their four children soon followed. While raising her children, she worked at Camillus Junior High school where she fed hundreds of children and shared her wonderful smile and some of her amazing recipes. Over the years she enjoyed camping at Sunset Park with her family, boating, fishing and laughing around the bonfire. She also enjoyed traveling and going on cruises with her family. Anna was a hairdresser for over 50 years, the last years working side by side with her daughter Debbie at ‘Hair It Is’ making the ladies of Camillus look and feel their best!! Anna was predeceased by her husband of 64 years, Carmen Jr. one week prior to Anna; son John; sisters Jenny Cretaro of Minoa, and Rosie Nesmith of Georgia; brothers Sammy Palumbo of Camillus and Nick of Solvay. Anna is survived by her daughter Deborah (Michael) Tighe, their son Ryan (Olivia) of Baldwinsville; two sons Carmen (Anne) Mallore III, and their sons CJ (Tasha) and a great grandson Rocco; and Sammy of Camillus and James (Kirsten) Mallore and sons Zachary and Maximus of Georgia. She is also survived by her late son John’s daughters and Courtney (Larry) and her sons Brady and Camryn; and Alix of Florida. Anna is also survived by her sisters-in-law, Patricia Mallore of Camillus, Sharon Seeley of Solvay, Diane Mallore of Warners, and Linda (Richard) MacDowell of Van Buren, along with many nieces and nephews. Anna was a wonderful mother, mother-in-law, grand and great grandmother and friend. We are going to miss her so much… Again the family would like to thank the doctors, nurses, and staff at Upstate Community Campus and also Upstate University Hospital for the support, care and compassion that they showed both our father and mother during this unimaginable time.
