Effective Sunday, March 22, all non-essential businesses statewide will be closed.

Funeral Home Services are Considered Essential and we remain open 24/7 to serve our families. We are only a phone call or email away.

A statement from B.L. Bush and Sons Funeral Home regarding COVID-19

The Coronavirus Global Pandemic has impacted all of us in a profound way.   As you may know, by executive order from Governor Cuomo, all funeral visitations and services in New York State have been limited to private family services.

While it is come to our attention that several area funeral homes are advertising to offer services for family and friends that are prohibited  and/or not suggested by the health dept or government. (coming up with ways to circumvent the restrictions).

We can not in good conscience offer services that endanger the families and community we serve.

We understand the deep impact this decision will have on those who've lost a loved one and need comfort and care the most. But we are here to help you pay tribute to your loved one. We can still offer streaming of services or will work with you to postpone memorial services until a future date.

Please note that In the case of any confirmed or suspected COVID-19 deaths, we will assist the family with either a direct cremation or an immediate burial (no embalming), with no gatherings of any kind at the funeral home.

We understand the struggle this presents in an already unimaginable time in our history. While protecting the health of mourners is our top priority, we promise to do everything possible to still provide the care, compassion and service you have come to expect from B.L. Bush and Sons for over 116 years.

Thank you.
