Mary Gilmore Wilson

Mary (Gilmore) Wilson, 93, of Rochester passed away peacefully on October 13, 2014 in Auburn Hospital following a full life filled with family, friends and travels. Born in Rochester, she graduated from Sacred Heart and Marshall High School. She and husband Robert had 10 children, lived in Webster before moving to Fort Meyers, FL where they spent 15 years. Later they moved to Penfield and after Robert’s passing she moved to Skaneateles and summered in TI Park. She was active in Holy Trinity Church and volunteered with FISH in Webster, volunteered at the hospital in Ft. Meyers. Mary was always involved in Community service organizations no matter where she lived. Predeceased by her son, David Wilson; grandson, Drew Bishop; daughter-in-laws, Rosemary Wilson and Barbara Kay Wilson; and her husband of 70 years Robert, in 2010. Survived by her beloved children, Robert F. (Laurie) Wilson, Thomas "Tucker" (Marie) Wilson, Richard (Betty) Wilson, William (Sandi) Wilson, Timothy (Kathleen) Wilson, Maureen (Robert) Bishop, Martin (Suzanne) Wilson, James (Virginia) Wilson and Eileen (Windsor Jr.) Price; a brother Thomas Gilmore of Towson, MD. Also 23 grandchildren, Robert G. (Margaret) and Daniel (Carrie) Wilson, Julie (Adrian) Mercier, Michael (Maureen), Colleen and Karen Wilson, Lori (John) Arnot, Amy (Abram) Johnson, Patrick (Valarie) Wilson, Barry (Jessica) Wilson, Evan (Amerique) Wilson, Nolan (Susan) Wilson, Joshua and Kellen Wilson, Stephen, Sean and Megan Wilson, Mara (Robert) Winn, Katherine (Matthew) Foody, Ryan Wilson, Islen (Trey) Craig, Glenna and Gaelyn Price; And 31 great-grandchildren: Matthew, Delaney, Ava, Ella, Abigail, Azure, Ember, Mary Gilmore, Annie Kay, Riley, Jack, Erin, Liam, Adam, Benjamin, Max, Dylan, Sophia, Mason , Mia, Caleb, Chloe, Alexus, Makayla, Dominic, Mary "Mia", Christopher James, Eleanor, Adelaide, Rowan, Seton Wells. A Memorial Mass will be Monday, October 20th at 11:00 am at St. Joseph Church, 43 Gebhardt Rd, Penfield. Interment will take place in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Rochester.
