Daniel M. Scicchitano Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Daniel M. Scicchitano, 54, of the village of Camillus passed away Tuesday with his family by his side at Crouse Hospital following a brief illness. Born in Syracuse, the son of Ralph and Angel (Minissali) Scicchitano, he was a 1976 graduate of West Genesee H.S. and a veteran of the US Air Force. He formerly worked for Knise & Krick as a tool and die maker for 22 years and currently was employed with Falk Precision. Dan was a member of Immanuel United Methodist Church where he taught Sunday School. He coached CYBA for 7 years, loved playing guitar, was an avid NY Giants fan, enjoyed drawing, good tobacco with a good pipe and writing Ephiss Veep poetry. Dan is survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Amy (Jackson) Scicchitano, two sons Daniel and Nathan; two daughters Victoria Scicchitano and Sarah (Eric Whiting) Scicchitano; his brother Ralph (Judy) Jr.; two sisters Jeanette Lannie and Sharon (Bob) Latham; many nieces and nephews; and his mother-in-law Judith C. Jackson. Calling hours will be 4 to 8 pm Friday at B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee (Main) St. Camillus. Services are 10 am Saturday at Immanuel United Methodist Church with the Rev. Heather Williams officiating. Burial will be in Greenlawn Memorial Park. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Immanuel United Methodist Church, 303 Kasson Rd., Camillus, NY 13031.
