Michael C. McNeil, Jr. Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Michael C. McNeil, Jr. 50, Fayetteville passed away Sunday at VA Medical Center following his battle with ALS. Born in Syracuse he attended West Genesee High School and then served in the US Navy. Michael was working for Romano Chrysler-Jeep in Fayetteville. He was an avid cigar collector and loved golfing where he was a member of Cazenovia County Club and played in many charity tournaments. Michael was predeceased by his brother Richard in 1991 and sister Barbara in 2005. Surviving is his wife Leslie (Sacco); his three daughters Amanda (Daniel) Cieslik of Eastwood, Sara and Jordan both at home; three stepsons Scott, Anthony and Matthew of Sandy Creek; his mother and step-father Martha and Gregory Procopio of Warners; a sister Kathleen (Robert) Fancher of Baldwinsville; three brothers Daniel McNeil of Warners, William McNeil of Mattydale, and Mark (Krista) Procopio of Clay; three grandchildren, his father Michael C. McNeil, Sr. of Liverpool; several nieces and nephews. A special thank you to Joe Valentino for his support of Michael and for the staff at VA Medical Center for their care and accommodation to his family. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Wednesday at Our Lady of Good Counsel in Warners. Calling hours are 5 to 9 pm Tuesday at the B.L. Bush & Sons Funeral Home, 10 Genesee St., village of Camillus. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Warners. Contributions in lieu of flowers to ALS Association P.O. Box 127, Elbridge, NY 13060.
