Oscar Collazo, 51, of Camillus died suddenly on Tuesday at Community General Hospital. Born in Manhattan, he graduated from SUNY Plattsburg and moved to area after taking a job at Silo in the old Camillus Mall and has recently been working for Lowery Bros Chrysler-Jeep for over 11 years. He was a member of the Camillus Elks and loved Yankee’s baseball. He is survived by his wife of 20 years Debra (Shuert); two daughters Tara (Jeffrey) Shuert Bergin; Samantha Collazo of Camillus; sister-in-laws Pam Baca of Camillus and Robin (Randy) Jackson of Chittenango; mother-in-law Mary Shuert of Syracuse; a niece and a nephew. Calling hours are 4 to 7 pm Thursday, July 31 at B.L. Bush & Sons, 10 Genesee St., in village of Camillus. A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 am Friday at St. Joseph Church.
