History

We have years of experience caring for families, from all walks of life. Each family comes to us because they know we are leaders in our profession, dedicated to excellence in service, and have the highest integrity. Today with our main location in Camillus, NY. Service is still our primary focus as we continue our Tradition of Trust Since 1904.

Founded in 1904 on the banks of the Erie Canal, our history began when B.L. Bush opened a funeral home and furniture store, later expanding to offer a vital community ambulance services. B.L. Bush carried a proud legacy as the descendant of Revolutionary War veteran Conrad Bush—a soldier and personal bodyguard to General George Washington.

As the years passed, our services grew. The third generation introduced our monument business, and today, as we enter our 122nd year, the fourth generation proudly carries on this deeply rooted tradition of service. While we have cherished our time serving the communities of Jordan, Elbridge, and Skaneateles over the decades, we now welcome families to our main location in Camillus. Throughout our long history, our focus has never changed: it has always been about you, our families we serve.
